PBT: Electricity

Not yet written up as its own topic — voltage and current in PBT terms (subatomic pressure flows, not charge carriers in the conventional sense) don’t have dedicated notes on the site yet. Paper 3 covers the closest existing ground, deriving the Lorentz force mechanically as part of its electromagnetic treatment (see the 2026-07-22 editorial note there: the underlying field equations are standard, proven classical electromagnetism, reused unchanged — PBT’s own contribution is a proposed mechanical origin for what those fields physically are, not a change to the equations). See Why Pressure for the fuller argument behind this specific claim: standard electrical engineering already teaches voltage-as-pressure and current-as-flow as a real, working analogy (the “hydraulic analogy”), and PBT’s premise is to ask what happens if that analogy is closer to literal than anyone assumed. Fuller coverage of voltage, current, and circuits specifically is genuinely not developed yet — check back, or see The Theory for the current state of the overall model.
