A vast faint field of tiny glowing particles filling all of space evenly, suggesting an invisible medium rather than empty darkness.

PBT’s medium is a modern, dynamical relative of the historical aether — not a fixed, detectable rest frame (which Michelson-Morley ruled out), but a Lorentz-compatible field whose couplings are kept small enough to avoid the same fate.
