Status: Unproven.

PBT’s own proposed equation for how a charged body distorts the local aether field $u^\mu$, the mechanism claimed to underlie magnetism and electromagnetism in Paper 3. It’s built on the real Einstein-Aether Theory framework’s $u^\mu$ field, but this specific charge-coupling relation is PBT’s own addition, not part of the published Einstein-aether literature.

What would make this proven: an independent derivation of this specific proportionality from the theory’s own action (rather than asserted), plus a measurable prediction distinguishing it from standard classical electromagnetism (which already correctly predicts the same real charge field behavior via the Coulomb field, $\propto q/r^2$, without invoking any aether distortion). As written, this equation reproduces a real, already-known charge-field scaling relation without yet showing what new, checkable physics it adds.
